Main Street Press USA was founded in 2024 by a former small-city daily editor who watched her paper's business section shrink from eight pages to a half-page in ten years, and a retail consultant who's spent twenty years advising independent storefront owners on leases, staffing, and succession. We write about Main Street businesses as businesses — not as lifestyle content or civic nostalgia.
